Immerse yourself in the essence of Wine Country with an exclusive Culinary Retreat at Ramekins. Our intensive 2,3, or 4-day Retreats, limited to 10 students, include instruction on advanced culinary techniques featuring locally sourced ingredients.

Guest chefs, renowned for their culinary passion and mastery, will cover subjects as diverse as French sauces, cheese making, pastry, bread baking, meat preparation and a variety of cooking methods.

In order to fully experience the cuisine of the Wine Country, these retreats will include trips to local wineries and sustainable farms, including 5th Street Farms, Oak Hill Farm and Stone Edge Farm. You will select the freshest ingredients for classes and develop knowledge of seasonality and sustainability.

A trip to Sonoma wouldn’t be complete without extensive wine education. Exceptional winemakers, sommeliers, and outstanding wineries, including the renowned Hanzell Vineyards, Opus One Winery and Domaine Chandon, will provide an education on grape harvesting, wine production, tasting and food pairing.

We are pleased to announce that most retreats will feature a private dinner at Chef Thomas Keller’s renowned restaurant The French Laundry, one of the world’s preeminent dining establishments.
