MARKETING DIRECTOR AT PREMIER HOSPITALITY GROUP

Marketing Director needed for one of Sonoma’s premier hospitality groups, including Ramekins Cooking School, Events & Inn, The General’s Daughter, Cornerstone Sonoma, the Barn at Tyge William Cellars, the Cottage Inn & Spa and Sonoma’s Best. As the company has been recently purchased by a new owner and is poised for growth, the position will initially take on general marketing management duties, but will eventually hire a small team to manage, helping the company foster growth for its reputation both inside and outside Sonoma County. This is an exciting position for those with an entrepreneurial spirit or who thrive in dynamic environments. Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting events at all properties through regular media channels and web bulletin boards, memberships, advertising and networking
  • Directing and managing contracted graphic designer to work on graphics and other marketing materials
  • Directing and project managing web site, managing web designer and web developer, and writing captivating web copy while routing it through relevant stakeholders for approval
  • Managing and implementing content development and strategy for social media channels
  • Collaborating with executive team at all venues, the owners, PR firm, other key team members on special event development
  • Managing and editing the production of the Cooking Class Brochure, produced three times a year
  • Developing a system for monitoring web analytics and success of content
  • Monitoring the success of partnerships with wedding websites like Wedding Wire and Wedding Spot
  • Developing and managing a budget from scratch


The perfect candidate:

  • Has a background as a Senior Marketing Manager or Director
  • Has experience marketing and promoting events
